Position Overview:

As an Independent Contractor Dental Insurance Verification Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in the success of our dental practice- clients by ensuring their patients' dental insurance claims and billing processes are managed effectively. You will be responsible for verifying dental insurance coverage, and data entry. The ideal candidate for this independent contractor role should have a deep understanding of dental insurance processes, excellent attention to detail, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications:

1. • High school diploma or equivalent. English course certification is a plus.
2. • Strong attention to detail, organization, and accuracy.
3. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate remote collaboration with Paragon Dental Solutions.
4. • Willingness to learn the dental practice management software and insurance verification tools from the US-based systems.
5. • Ability to handle sensitive patient information with confidentiality and professionalism, adhering to Colombian and US data privacy regulations.
6. • Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to navigate issues between different insurance systems.
7. • Self-motivated, reliable, and capable of managing responsibilities independently as an independent contractor.
8. • Google Workspace knowledge is a plus for this position.
9. • At least 2-3 hours of daytime availability needed.

Contract Terms:

• • This is an independent contractor position based in Colombia.
• • Compensation and contract terms will be discussed during the interview process.
• • Access to necessary mentoring and resources will be provided to ensure successful remote work.
• • Mentorship will be provided for one month paid at minimum wage, with a pay increase after training.
• • Part-time with the ability to grow at your own pace.
• • Set your own schedule- with a need for day time availability.
• • Start dates available now.

Responsibilities:

• • Insurance Verification: Verify patients' dental insurance coverage, including eligibility, benefits, and coverage limitations.
• • Documentation: Accurately document and maintain insurance information for each patient under Paragon Dental Solutions' standards.
• • Communication: Effectively communicate insurance coverage details to the dental office, informing them of any potential discrepancies, history, and/or eligibility for treatment.
• • Up-to-date Knowledge: Stay informed about changes in insurance policies, codes, and regulations to ensure compliance with both Colombian and US-based requirements.
• • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to the Dental offices by addressing their insurance-related questions and concerns, representing Paragon Dental Solutions professionally.
• • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Dental office team to help coordinate treatment plans with the insurance coverage, ensuring a smooth patient experience.
