Requirements:
Trigyn has a contractual opportunity for an Application Engineer. This resource will be working at our client site in Colombia.
Job Responsibilities:
? Identifies user requirements, recommends enhancements and new features for existing systems.
? Implementing new mechanisms of quick response for all inquiries in timely and efficient manner.
? To provide on daily basis efficient, timely, accurate and courteous help to all customers.
? To provide advice to users; analyses requirements of users, translates requirements into solutions.
? Application Maintenance and monitoring. Support users with the requirements of the unit
? Manage staff check-out through the available platforms.
? Processing & updating all data. Manage data bases and provide reports for decision making. Prepare Power BI reports for Data Visualization.
? Troubleshoot, maintain, and support all standard applications, in particular: Microsoft Operating Systems and Office Suites; Lotus Notes Groupware applications, Linux based operating Systems.
? Proficient in programming languages, such as .NET Framework, Microsoft SQL, HTML/CSS
? Support and administer server applications such as: IIS, SQL, ADS, Names Services (WINS, DNS, DHCP, LDAP).
? Ensure that operating systems are hardened and patched by applying all relevant and approved software updates, periodically.
? Develop and automates processes within applications through the formulations and application of code and programming.
? Capacity to provide end-user training for Core Mission Applications and to produce and maintain user documentation for newly developed modules
? Oversee Veritas NetBackup Servers and perform System Backups and data retrieval. As well as monitoring logs and reports to ensure continued operation.
? Generate reports to determine performance issues arising from all relevant factors such as hardware, software and network and undertakes capacity planning. Further, monitors application operations and analyses systems logs to evaluate security vulnerabilities and compromises.
? Load Standard client software configuration and applications on computers to be issued to the users.
? Knowledgeable in LAN, WAN, and TCP/IP as they pertain to application performance operation.

Required Experience:
*Must have three years of working experience in Information Technology, Power BI/ Data Visualization, data bases, monitoring and maintenance of applications.
? Working experience in the field of Information Technology, experience in the usage and support of a collection of development platforms or business applications
*Must have a national driver's license.
*Good knowledge of Microsoft Office package.
at least 5 years working experience in telecommunications traffic handling, Information Technology, Power BI/ Data Visualization, monitoring and maintenance of applications.
